There will be a series of four workshops which are open to the public. Each workshop will contain a number of interactive stations giving the opportunity for you to weigh in on how to connect Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids with one single, continuous trail route. You can not only help shape where this trail is located, but you can also help make sure it gets built. Each year, federal funding is directed to state departments of transportation and metropolitan planning organizations earmarked for non-motorized transportation and development of trails, but it's simply not enough to build all the trails planned across the state on a yearly basis. You can make a difference and help make this trail become a reality.
